Rtn. Pranav Krishna Pitre was raised in a household rooted in integrity, ompassion, and service.From an early age, he embraced values that would guide his journey—as a community leader. Prof. Pranav Krishna Pitre is a highly accomplished and dynamic educator with a deep-rooted c o m m i t m e n t t o a c a d e m i c excellence, cultural enrichment, and social responsibility. Currently serving in the Department of Chemistry at Govindram Seksaria Science Pre-University College, Belagavi, Prof. Pitre brings with him a rich academic background and over two decades of dedicated service in the field of science education. Since 2014, Prof. Pitre has held the prestigious role of Master Trainer in Chemistry, selected by the Ministry of Education and Pre-University Education Board, Bengaluru — one among just 25 experts from across Karnataka. His leadership capabilities are further reflected in his tenure as the President of the Belgaum District Chemistry Teachers’ Forum (CHEM FORUM) across five academic years and as the Principal of GSS PU College from 2018 to 2023.Rtn Pitre’s contribution goes beyond academics. A passionate theatre artist, Prof. Pitre has represented Karnataka University and the state at national-level youth festivals and performed in several acclaimed plays including Nagamandalam and many more.In addition to his academic and artistic pursuits, Prof. Pitre is also a social worker. He is the Founder Secretary of SETU Social Organisation, an NGO based in Belagavi that workstowards improving the lives of the elderly, orphans, and underprivileged children. A dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Belgaum South since 2021, Rtn Pitre continues to inspire students, educators, and communities through his multifaceted personality and dynamism.
