President Bio-Data – Rotary Club of Belgaum South

Mr. Ramesh Ramgurwadi born to a very humble couple Smt. Girija & Shri. Basalingappa B. Ramgurwadi On 15th of February 1976. Mr.Ramesh completed schooling from Swadhyaya Vidya Mandir High School, Belagavi. He completed his secondary education from G.S.S. College, Belagavi, Diploma in Computer Science from Gomtesh Polytechnic, Belagavi.

After completing his education he worked for few private companies to gain the experience. His choice to be an entrepreneur made him to start his Own Business. After the first success story he has planned to expand his Business & this time his choice was Renewable energy sector with a specialization in Solar Energy under the banner Srushti Solutions. He started his Solar Business in the year 2002 in these following areas.
a) Solar Thermal Systems. b) Solar rooftop power generating system c) Solar utility scale power park.

With the huge success of Installations of Solar Thermal Companies like Bosch offered their dealership to him and also gave the responsibility of Solar Power Plants. Now he is associated with very big brands in India like :
1. BOSCH 2. PANASONIC 3. Sudarshan Saur

Till now he has served to more than 7000 satisfied customer by supplying Solar Thermal in and around Belagavi. This is equal to approximately capacity Of 12,00,000 lack litres of water. He started Solar Roof Top power plant installation by installing 380 KW system for Angadi College of Engineering, Belagavi. This was the first solar roof top power plant installed in North Karnataka. This became a bench mark for him to grow and till now he has installed 6 MW of roof top power generating systems.

These plants will generate around 87,60,000 KWh (units) per year. The power generated from these plants will suffice the 15% of power requirement of Belagavi city in a day. Apart from this he has installed solar utility sale projects, he has installed 14 MW Solar power plant at Yeragatti. This was a project of BOSCH. During earlierperiod of this project BOSCH faced lots of hurdles and suspended the project in Bangalore. Rtn Ramesh took this as a challenge and he started working on this. Starting from acquisition of land, getting NA, completing all Government formalities, installing of the plant was successfully completed well within the time frame by. Because of his efforts Compmy like Bosch had moved to Belagavi Dist. and invested Rs 100 Corer. This was the life time achievement and because of this he was recognized and honored by BOSCH. We would like to inform you all that the power which is generated from this plant is being used by Bangaluru International Airport.

The consistent efforts, hard work and having ethical standards in his Business has earnt a great name for his business house and now Shrushti Solutions is one of the BEST in the Solar Sector. Ramesh has always followed the principal of Giving back to Society and his work in the SOCIAL Sector has recognised by the Society and he is NOW has become a Roll Model for so many in the Society. His great work in the Social Sector seen by the Rotarians in the Society invited him to be the member Rotary Club of Belgaum South in the year 2011. He has Worked on various committees at club level & proved to be most Outstanding Rotarian in a short time . Very soon after joining the ROTARY he was selected as Club Secretary in the year 2016 and & gave his best year for the ROTARY. He is a generous Donor to Rotary Foundation & he has been recognised with Paul Harris fellow. He is part of many other organisations and is the Member of the Executive Committee of Lingayat Business forum . He is happily Married to Ann Gouri a B.Ed graduate and is a Teacher. She has been recognised twice BY GOK as the Best teacher. He is blessed with 2 children, Karan and Ashwin who are studying in KLE International School.
