Self-defence workshop

The Rotary Club of Belgaum South, in collaboration with the Interact Club, successfully organized a self-defense workshop at Swadhyaya Vidya Mandir. The workshop aimed to empower students, especially young girls, with essential self-defense techniques to ensure their safety and build confidence.

Rtn. Pranav Pitre, Secretary of RCBS, and Rtn. Vinod Kumthekar, Event Chairman, graced the occasion along with Rtn. Arati Angadi, Rtn. S. S. Shimangoudar Headmistress of the school, who extended her wholehearted support.

The session was conducted by renowned resource person Mr. Jitendra Kakatikar and his expert team, who demonstrated practical and effective self-defense moves. Students actively participated and showed great enthusiasm during the session.

The initiative was highly appreciated by the school management and students alike, marking it as a meaningful and impactful event.
