Tree Plantation Drive – A Step Towards a Greener Tomorrow

The Rotary Club of Belgaum South successfully conducted a Tree Plantation Drive on Monday, 14th July 2025, at Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Garden, Camp. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Rotarians, families, and local well-wishers, all united by a common goal — to contribute towards a cleaner and greener environment.
Led by Event Chairman Rtn. Vijay Daragshetti, and supported by Club Service Director Rtn. Hemant Kamat, the drive aimed to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living. Dozens of saplings were planted, with a commitment from the club to nurture and maintain them for long-term impact.
The event was not just about planting trees — it was about planting hope for future generations. Members engaged actively, setting an example of environmental responsibility and community service.
